Joline & ICM

Shortly after her arrival in Maputo, Joline joined the ICM and immediately got drawn in all its activities, showing herself to be a genuinely warm, decent person, committed to the group and always willing to get involved and help. It is true that she became very much part of the ICM family and contributing to its activities, whether it was an internal organizational task or one of its projects.

If a volunteer was needed, Joline was there and willing to help. The home for the elderly, the orphanages, the street children, all got her undivided attention. In fact, at her last ICM meeting she spoke of an old lady from Inhambane stranded in Maputo, for whom she was arranging transport in order for her to return home.

It is a great testament to her caring and sharing personality that in a short time period she made many good friends at the ICM.
